Donough O' Malley is from the North East of Ireland.
He completed a degree in Illustration at the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2000 and afterwards went on to do an M.A. in Illustration at the University of Brighton.
Since then he has been working for such clients as the BBC, Orchard Books, Spoiltchild Design, BlackKnight Solutions, Haymarket media, Management today, Prospects, Runner's World, reFRESH magazine and Wine Republic magazine.
His first children's book 'Monkey See Monkey Do' was published by Frances Lincoln and was shortlisted for the Cambridge Picture Book Award.
When not working he likes to spend his time flying kites and planning his next big trip abroad. Preferably somewhere hot.
